Concrete - N - Counters Recently, commercial business has picked up for Concrete - N - Counters. Here is what they had to say about a project completed in January of 2008: "We stained the 2,500 square foot floor black in color and sealed it with two coats of 50% solids solvent-based urethane. The owner also specified concrete baseboard which we pre-cast in our shop and installed on the jobsite. We used an epoxy grout in all of the seams for long-term durability. The Wine Exchange Bistro and Wine Bar has an 18 year old heritage in Hyde Park Village just outside of downtown Tampa. Their previous location was being demolished to make room for more condos forcing them to move to a new location within the Village. The owner set out to utilize concrete in his new restaurant due to its durability and low maintenance. The Wine Exchange is located at 1609 Snow Ave. West. Tampa, FL."
SFG Floors This floor was acid stained for Yoga Planet, a yoga studio in Tampa. Two SureCrete stains, harvest yellow and terra cotta, were mixed together to create a custom color. The logo was handpainted onto the concrete.
Ideal Concrete Designs The waiting room of this local business was transformed with a decorative concrete overlay. The existing concrete was covered with a thin layer of a cementitious topping, thin stained with acid stains. Here, staining was used to create a variegated, warm tone. |
